» Products with special benefits for winter

Winter can be wonderful, but even when the sun is shining, the cold and wind outside and the dry air inside from central heating can put strains on the skin. In order to combat these external stresses, we are invited to spoil ourselves with cosmetic products.

  • It is a pure pleasure to spoil the body with a natural oil or lotion, for example after a sauna or a relaxing bath.
  • Special attention should be paid to the hands and hair. The cold is particularly harsh on dry hands, which is why you should be particularly attentive to the hands, as well as the hair, in winter.
  • If the skin on the face becomes dryer and rougher, it may be sufficient simply to use a night cream as a day cream.

This oil consists of a mixture of genuine plant oils (jojoba, sesame, sunflower, wheat germ and macadamia nut oil). This mixture is strengthened with pomegranate oil to combat oxidative stress. The product also contains extracts of millet seed, sunflower seed and the particularly beneficial unsaponifiable olive oil to promote the regeneration of difficult skin.
• This oil is certified according to NaTrue with two stars (**). This means that, according to the NaTrue standard, it must contain at least 90% of pure natural substances, of which at least 70% must be of organic origin.

This oil consists of sunflower and calendula oil. Calendula oil is part of the group of fatty active oils which are characterised by a high essential fatty acids content. These oils maintain the elasticity of the skin and promote its natural regeneration. Calendula oil has been used as a healing oil since ancient times. It boosts the circulation, has a calming, strengthening effect and helps to prevent inflammation. This mixture of sunflower and calendula oil is particularly recommended for very sensitive skin and is suitable for use on babies’ and children’s skin.
• The organic quality is excellent as both oils are obtained using organic Demeter methods.

The main characteristics of this body lotion are its cool design, an exquisite fragrance and fine natural ingredients. The main oils used are genuine plant oils (soya, almond and jojoba oil). The product also contains plant-based glycerine and sorbitol which improve the moisture balance of the skin, vitamin E which protects and skin, cupuaçu butter and raspberry seed oil.
• All three main oils, in addition to the raspberry oil and alcohol, are organic.

Almond oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil and Shea butter provide the skin with the care it deserves. Myrrh extract and the active camomile component bisabolol help to prevent inflammation and promote the skin’s natural balance. Glycerine is also used as an additional moisturiser. A tip for particularly intensive care is to apply the cream before going to bed and leave it on overnight.
• The product contains organic soya, almond and jojoba oil and shea butter. It also contains organic alcohol.

The additives are of a high quality but unfortunately some of the ingredients have been incorrectly recorded and can therefore not be found in my INCI list. One example is the 1st additive after water – sweet almond (Prunus amygdalus Dulcis) oil – which should actually be recorded as: Prunus amygdalus Dulcis (sweet almond) oil. Unfortunately, the wording on the tube is very difficult to decipher.
The product itself consists of high-quality plant-based ingredients such as almond oil, shea butter, apricot seed oil, macadamia nut oil and sunflower oil. It also contains the moisturiser glycerine, the camomile component bisabolol and a mixture of high-quality extracts (samphire, mimosa, edelweiss and a cactus extract). The cream contains two preservatives but they are among the mild substances authorised for natural and organic cosmetics.
• According to the manufacturer’s details, the organic share amounts to 15.5%.

The sunflower oil, rosemary and burdock root used in this oil make it a mild intensive care product for dry, rough skin. Burdock root extract strengthens the roots and scalp and help to prevent the formation and development of bacteria and fungal infections in the case of dandruff, for example. To use, simply massage a few drops into the scalp and all through the hair.

Conventional hair conditioners generally contain a high proportion of chemicals which are damaging to the environment. In this hair treatment, pure, natural skin-care products such as broccoli seed oil, mango butter, glycerine and nettle extract make the hair easy to comb, shiny and full.
This product can be used as a rinse (after washing the hair) but also as a weekly cure but applying a walnut-sized amount to the hair and leaving for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
• The product contains organic nettle extract and alcohol.
